- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience with Design For Test (DFT) methodologies, DFT verification and industry-standard DFT tools.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with CAD navigation tools such as valon, Virtuoso, Sysnav, etc.
- Knowledge of Design for Test (DFT), diagnostics, MBIST, and experience with DFT or yield tools.
- Knowledge of process technology nodes and Physical FA.
- Knowledge of Python, TCL, C, Java, and other programming languages for automation.
As a Failure Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical verification and isolation of the failure. You will use ATE device characterization and utilization of Electrical Fault Isolation techniques such as Thermal Mapping/Lock-in Thermography, Photon Emissions, Laser Stimulation and Laser Voltage Imaging/Probing to determine the root cause of the failure.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $127,000-$187,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. - Perform failure analyses on highly advanced and complicated issues using electronic circuit, DFT, and process technology knowledge.
- Conduct ATE and SLT-based electrical testing/verification, including curve tracing to analyze ATE data, ATPG/MBIST diagnostics, and visualize results using CAD tools.
- Employ electrical fault isolation (e.g., Thermal Imaging, Photon Emission Analysis, Laser Voltage Probing, Dynamic Laser Stimulation) to pinpoint cell-level failures. Guide physical failure analysis (PFA) with instructions.
- Develop/improve FA techniques and design FA hardware.
- Write electrical failure analysis reports, present findings, drive physical failure analysis and root cause analysis, including corrective actions.
