Job Description Where you’ll work: Anywhere in Hungary Localization at GoTo The Global Localization Services (GLS) team helps bring GoTo products and services to the world. Our goal is to offer the same exciting customer journey to all our global customers by delivering reliable, easy to use and fully localized experiences. We are looking for a localization project manager to join our dynamic, virtual and multicultural team to help us shape the GoTo message with maximum local relevance, strengthening our brand and products in key markets around the globe. Your Day to Day As a Localization Project Manager you would be working on:
- Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, etc.) to ensure that requirements for localizability are implemented and the localization processes are well understood.
- Manage, coordinate, track, and troubleshoot localization projects and tasks for multiple locales/languages in collaboration with our language service providers.
- In an agile environment, contribute to efficient localization end-to-end processes including translation, localization, transcreation and LQA tasks to meet our internal partners’ needs and optimize our way of working and offering.
- Propagate a Global (First) Mindset by evangelizing localization best practices and ensuring both external and internal partners’ compliance with global standards.
- Graduate degree in , media and communication management, information technology, linguistics, applied translation and cultural sciences OR any related areas, followed by 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
- 2+ years of experience in localization project management OR a relevant field
- Excellent command of English. Fluency in additional languages welcome
- Experience with CAT tools and standard project management methodologies/tools as well as translation management systems (e.g. Crowdin, XTM, memoQ, etc.)
- Outstanding organizational skills: the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time interacting with various stakeholders simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail
- Passion for close teamwork and working towards shared goals in a remote, virtual, and multicultural setting
- Strong customer orientation
- Openness for change in a fast-paced environment
