The T&P (Technology and Product) Pillar is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager that leads the Salesforce’s Tableau and Unified Analytics Product Intelligence team. The candidate should have an extensive background in Data Science, Product Strategy, Product Analytics, Data Platforms, Data Warehousing, Data Services, service-oriented architecture principles, and business, system and data architecture processes. Familiarity with Salesforce and Tableau products, architecture and public cloud data services are required. This position will report to the Senior Director, Product Management responsible for the Product Analytics & Data Engineering portfolios. The Senior Product Manager will also engage with our Tableau and Unified Analytics product teams, Product Telemetry and Data Science teams. Role DescriptionThe Senior Product Manager will be responsible for both the Data Engineering and Analytics Product strategies, product vision requirements, definition of done, prioritization and persona’s/use cases and use cases driving integration into the Data Platform & Services stack. You will work with the Data Engineering and Product Analytics team to manage day-to-day activities, backlogs, roadmaps, prioritizations and drive internal working groups to align internal partners and customers on the long term roadmap and shared requirements. The Senior Product Manager will provide status updates, roadmaps, func spec’s and release announcements. This role will be a critical aspect to focus on advanced analytics needs, create self-service analytics, lead instrumentation within product and a Customer Zero voice to Product teams for our own products. You will be the voice of the customer, advocating for features, connectors and integrations that will improve the e2e data experience for our internal and external customers. The Senior Product Manager will need the ability to work at a strategic level, extending our long-term data strategy and tooling vision while fostering stakeholder consensus through trust and tactical delivery. With a flexible, team-spirited, customer-first, and entrepreneurial attitude, you are ready and capable of diving into the technical details and delivering tactical value. Serve as a technical advisor and subject matter expert on the effective use of big data, data science and Tableau Product stacks Partner with Data Platform & Services Engineering Team, Data Management & Risk team to deliver highly trusted, scalable services with qualityPartner with Tableau Product team’s as a customer advocate on experience and use case gapsFoster strong collaboration between globally distributed teams, analytics/data teams and partner organizations.Leverage Industry best practices to build and establish big data product management programConvey a self-motivated, pragmatic and get-it-done attitude. Job RequirementsRequires relevant BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, MBA is a plus.At least 3-5 years of experience in large scale data or software related engagements or programs, playing a role of Product Manager, Architect, Tech PM or Development Manager.Exceptional cross-enterprise communication, facilitation, coordination, prioritization and presentation skills.Requires 3+ years hands on experience in product management. Breadth in both established and emerging technologies like Big Data, NoSQL, Hive, Hadoop, Data Warehousing, Data Fabric, Data virtualization, data sciences, predictive and prescriptive analytics.Ability to lead various data initiatives across the enterprise and sell data as an asset value to senior leadership.Ability to motivate, influence and drive results while also holding strong soft-skills for relationship building and consensus building. Experience working with globally distributed teams and partners.Ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals including engineers, systems administrators, executives, customers, regulators, auditors, etc. in often ambiguous specifications with competing priorities Industry certifications in security, technology, project and/or business management (e,g, CISSP, Scrum Certifications,CCIE, CISM, CISA, PMP, ITIL, Six Sigma etc.) a plus.Hands-on Salesforce.com and Tableau knowledge of product and functionality a plus.
