Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Job Summary: In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers. We are seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer II to join our Engineering team in Aurora, CO. In this role, you will support a cross-disciplinary team of system and software engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions. As an SI&T Engineer, you will assist in the documentation and definition of all Test and Integration events. The SI&T Engineer must have a clear understanding of all test related requirements, interfaces, and test results. The successful candidate will have the ability to track and gather artifacts and analyze results. Responsibilities to Anticipate: This role includes but is not limited to:
- Supporting the SI&T team in an Agile, DEVSecOps environment:
- Support to overall test strategy, including plan and procedure development
- Integrating software and hardware
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues
- Development of automated test scripts and their execution
- Generation, review, maintenance, and management of documentation
- Conducting performance analysis, risk analysis, and trade studies
- Preparation and conduct of program reviews
- Collaborating across functions in support of successful program execution
- Supporting technical interchange meetings with the customer
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two (2) years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with systems and requirements in a test environment: such as requirements analysis, developing associated documentation for integration and verification (plans, procedures, and reports), and supporting integration and verification execution events.
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence
- Experience working in Java development
- TS Clearance with SCI is required on day one. US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Systems Engineering experience on a large government program, with preference for ground systems solutions programs
- Experience engaging with and presenting to technical and programmatic leadership
- Experience with Agile and DevOps
- Experience with pipeline, and associated tools (Jenkins)
- Experience with manual testing techniques including writing new procedures from scratch and maintaining/updating legacy test procedures
- Experience with automation testing tool suites such as Gherkin/Cucumber
