Talent Acquisition Associate As a Talent Acquisition Associate at Millennium you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the business to attract and select the best talent for their teams. Your relationship management and influencing skills will make you a credible partner to the business, providing valuable insights and market trends. In this role, you will directly support internal clients across multiple departments including Finance, Operations and Middle Office, Business Strategy, Branding and Communications, Capital Development and Investor Relations, Execution Services, Corporate Services, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Human Resources, and Business Development. - Source and engage top talent through strategic, creative and innovative sourcing approaches using multiple channels
- Develop an effective and compelling presentation to sell Millennium to prospective candidates; build and manage candidates through to the closing and offer stage
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and goals
- Proactively incorporate Millennium's diversity and inclusion strategy into recruiting processes
- Conduct interviews and facilitate debrief sessions to identify the best talent
- Develop competitive offers and close candidates to bring top talent into Millennium
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Manage vendor relationships; identify strategic relationships and strengthen firm’s overall relationship
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 plus years of recruiting experience, ideally both in house and agency
- Proven experience with talent acquisition within the financial services industry, preferably in a hedge fund or similar investment environment
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, Boolean searching and sourcing passive candidates
- An understanding of the financial markets and the ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Strong negotiation skills and understanding of compensation and benefits within the hedge fund industry
- Ability to work in high volume environment; handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Client focused, service oriented, and relationship builder
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
