Job Requisition ID # 23WD74210 Position Overview Autodesk ACS (Autodesk Construction Solutions) R&D team is looking for a talented and highly motivated individual to join its SRE/ DevOps team, to strengthen the infra and operation-ability of its Docs platform, which powers ACS products for its worldwide customers. As Autodesk transitions to the cloud, our value comes from building and scaling reliable and trusted cloud services. At Autodesk Construction Solutions, we solve real problems. Construction productivity has lagged behind the rest of the labor industries for decades, but this is all about to change as the industry starts adopting technology and adapting to the digital world. This is a remote position on the west coast. Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable systems and infrastructure
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the reliability and performance of applications
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of systems and services
- Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and infrastructure issues
- Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure optimal system performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SRE and cloud technologies
- Improve the security policy and process of web and cloud-based applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as an SRE or DevOps Engineer
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js)
- Expertise in database management, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and networking
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
