Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in sustainable procurement or building and executing strategies for sustainability programs.
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent field.
- Experience driving results and execution in multi-stakeholder environments and complex systems.
- Understanding of Scope 1 and 3 GHG emissions and drivers in industrial context.
- Understanding of the data center environment and sustainability drivers in the industry.
- Define, implement, and scale supplier sustainability programs, acting as the central point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Stand up a program to spur the market for low-carbon materials and equipment (i.e., upstream of procurement), coordinating with construction and supply chain sustainability teams.
- Manage Google’s engagement with low-carbon consortia, working with cross-functional internal stakeholders. Expand the renewable diesel procurement program to cover the global data center portfolio, working closely with site teams.
- Help drive engagement on sustainability goals and metrics with third-party data center vendors to reduce Scope 3 emissions.
- Define and report key success metrics, including milestones and adoption rates. Support and facilitate data collection for Green House Gas (GHG) accounting, reporting, and forecasting.
