About the Team: This is an exciting and engaging opportunity to lead the Global PBP team, PMO, and HR Comms. You will report to the Chief Human Resource Officer for Medidata and will serve as a strategic partner with Medidata department leaders to ensure that employees are treated equitably and in alignment with company practices. You will work to find the right balance between the business needs and employee advocacy. Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders and work closely with department heads and executives to understand their unique needs and challenges. They then translate those needs into actionable HR strategies and initiatives.
- Develop and implement HR programs, including everything from onboarding to performance management and employee relations. HRBPs ensure that these programs are effective, compliant, and aligned with the organization's culture.
- Provide expert guidance and coaching as well as offer specialized knowledge and advice on a wide range of HR topics, including compensation and benefits, legal compliance, and employee engagement.
- Act as a sounding board and serve as a confidential resource for employees and leaders to discuss concerns, brainstorm solutions, and navigate complex situations.
- Lead and manage a global team of approximately 25.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Labor Relations or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 10 years relevant HR experience including employee relations, organizational development, and/or labor relations
- Minimum 4 years’ experience leading a human resources team
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
