Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Job Summary: In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers. The Ground Radars & Platforms Center within SI&T seeks talented Systems Engineers to support the Patriot program. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. Whether in hardware, software, networking, or some combination of all three, you'll be stretched to learn about how our systems work and identify the sources of new and unexpected issues through lots of troubleshooting and data analysis. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts across the program. This position is an onsite role in Andover, MA. Travel is expected to White Sands Missile Range, NM, Huntsville, AL, and Internationally to support program reviews and test events with the ability to support testing on multiple shifts. Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Support system level integration and verification, including test planning and execution in the test facilities
- Prepare integration and verification documentation, such as test plans, procedures, test cases, and reports
- Utilize DOORS to capture verification artifacts and maintain traceability to requirements
- Analyze data to identify and resolve system performance issues and complete requirement verification
- Compile, summarize, and present data analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including program leadership and external customers
- Collaborate across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve issues
- Typically requires Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior experience includes system integration and requirements verification, which necessarily includes system operation, test, data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Patriot hardware (Remote Maintenance Support System (RMSS) and Battle Management, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (BMC4I))
- Experience with systems integration and verification strategy, including methods and processes, as well as the development of verification plans, procedures, and reports
- Experience with leading and conducting Patriot training and demonstration efforts
- Experience leading program reviews with internal and external stakeholders such as program leadership, United States Government customer, Partner Nation end users
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with the operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of the Patriot system
- Experience with Patriot specific data collection and analysis tools
- Experience interfacing with internal and external customers, and finding technical solutions to complex requirements
- Experience with developing and reviewing field bulletins reported from the field
- Experience with generating technical documentation in support of requirements integration and verification, including work instructions and process flow diagrams
- Experience with technical leadership and mentoring
- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
- Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
- Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
