Date Posted:2024-04-23 Country:United States of America Location:HCT99: Field Office - CT Remote Location, Remote City, CT, 06101 USA Position Role Type:Remote The Senior Analyst, Cost Lead, in alignment with the business strategy, develops and executes opportunities to enhance product profitability and ensure financial goals are met. The Senior Analyst guides program performance including project execution, financial goals, risk management, schedules, and budgets. The Senior Analyst fosters a culture of idea generation, value optimization and change across the organization. Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with all functions to generate value optimization ideas, sourcing strategies, and business cases
- Prepare and execute project plans with cross functional Product Line Teams from Engineering, Operations, Supply chain, Program Office, Quality, and Finance
- Engage in project management and proactively identify issues to manage risk and establish mitigation plans for Engineering and Sourcing initiatives
- Analyze product cost data and ensure accuracy in reporting and identify trends and outliers
- Develop and communicate cost status reports for products and programs and present in various management reviews
- Lead Sourcing Changes through the Collins transition process to ensure all Operational risks are mitigated and Quality requirements are met
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
- Experience with project and/or program management
- Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management System)
- Experience with data analytics (Pivot Tables)
- Experience in the NPI (New Product Introduction) process
- Experience with manufacturing and operations processes
- Experience with SAP
- Be on a career break of one or more year at time of application
- Have prior experience in functional area of interest
