Creative Optimization Manager - Paid Social & Mobile App Marketing We are looking for a data-driven and passionate media or marketing professional to join our team as Creative Optimization Manager within Expedia Group’s Mobile App & Paid Social Marketing org. This role serves as the crucial connective tissue between brand, creative, and business marketing - collaborating with brand stakeholders, media partners, creative agencies, and product stakeholders to drive best-in-class creative for our performance media channels. The Creative Optimization team develops and implements the team vision for a robust creative testing roadmap and works with relevant product & tech stakeholders to enable rapid, iterative testing and to fuel a continuous creative performance feedback loop. Alongside the performance creative remit, this role also owns the end-to-end media planning, implementation, and reporting for Expedia Group’s Paid Social Awareness marketing campaigns for established and growing global markets. Therefore, our ideal candidate will have experience in both performance and brand marketing, creative strategy and tactical media planning, all underlined with a heavy emphasis on data-driven decision-making. What you'll do: As the Champion for best-in-class Performance paid social and app-first creative (~70% of your time), you will:
- Own creative processes and creative priorities for Paid Social and Mobile App channels with the internal creative & production teams - reinforcing channel creative best practices and leveraging data and insights to drive recommendations
- Work with performance campaign managers to define areas of creative testing opportunity, build business cases, and present data-driven recommendations to build a creative test & learn roadmap and ensure wider team buy-in
- Analyze campaign and creative performance data to provide meaningful, actionable insights
- Work closely with Ad Tech and Analytics partners to develop and implement sophisticated solutions for creative automation and optimization
- Efficiently maximize Expedia Group’s brand campaign investment on social media platforms, driving awareness and affinity for a key Expedia Group brand (Expedia, Hotels.com, or Vrbo)
- Own the end-to-end strategy and campaign management for global B2C brand awareness campaigns across Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and other social media platforms
- Prepare end of campaign performance insights seeking to educate, influence, and improve creative strategy for future brand activity
- Propose and develop full-funnel test strategies in with Performance Marketing leads to further understand the return on investment of Brand spend on lower-funnel marketing KPIs
- 5-7+ years of digital marketing experience on social platforms; direct-response/performance marketing experience a must
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or other relevant field (or equivalent agency or in-house marketing work experience)
- Deep understanding of the digital creative process which can then be used to advocate for best-in-class creative for our brand and performance media channels
- Ability to aggregate data and inputs from multiple sources to make a data-driven recommendation grounded in insights
- Familiarity with the various KPIs used to define and measure campaign/creative performance across the marketing funnel
- Experience managing global, multi-million dollar Paid Social brand campaigns
