- Navigate the complexities of managing pension or health benefits, ensuring compliances are followed and enhancing overall plan/ platform effectiveness.
- Work with end clients to collect requirements as well as bring those requirements back in an efficient manner to Deloitte implementation teams.
- Handle day-to-day administration tasks, including employee enrollment, communication, forms/letters, and record-keeping.
- Have an established knowledge - as well as a desire to continue learning about - benefit processes such as enrollment, retirement elections, retirement calculations, pension estimates & plan eligibility.
- Coordinate with HR vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing of all pension related events.
- Have an understanding of pension and health benefit technology platforms - to include having understanding of how to perform administrative functions in these platforms as well as light troubleshooting and testing for these platforms.
- Responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, carrier feeds, and integrity of the data being entered into these benefit administration platforms
- Help conduct competitive vendor search and selection initiatives.
- Assistant in preparing client presentations and reports.
- Conduct general pension or health consulting activities as required.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience post-Bachelors.
- 4+ years experience in a consulting environment.
- 4+ years experience leading technology implementations and/or transformations in the pension or health benefits administration space
- 4+ years experience working with health or pension enrollment, election, calculations, estimates and plan eligibility
- 4+ years working in benefit technology (testing, SQL querying, form/template creation, moving data in and out of data warehousing)
- 4+ years working in vendor evaluations, utilizations, implementations and feedback.
- 4+ years working for a backend vendor or processing house for pension benefits
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for this role.
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
