What you'll do at Jamf
The Senior Program Manager will play a critical role in owning, managing and providing visibility into major key programs, including customer facing and/or internal programs. They will be adept at working cross-functionally, with teams as well as with other departments. This role will coordinate and drive people and processes to ensure that our programs are delivered on time and produce the desired results.
They will be the go-to person for everything involving a program’s organization, timeline, and reporting. This will include working with stakeholders to set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and provide updates regarding the status of programs.
The ability to lead programs and projects of all sizes, coordinate, implement best practices, create and manage centralized dashboards, communicate issues/risks/team progress will be critical to success.
What you can expect to do in this role:
- Responsible for the alignment, coordination and communication of large projects and programs, including transformational initiatives, releases, integrations and migrations, rollout of new tooling, and other programs as needed to support the Jamf portfolio.
- Drive, lead and coordinate tasks/ dependencies/ roadblocks across the Jamf portfolio.
- Provide critical thinking and influence to assist cross functional teams to effectively address changes to scope or risk as they arise
- Develop detailed project and program plans to monitor and track progress. Develop high level plans where needed.
- Independently conduct program intake and requirement sessions in order to define project or program scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Owning and driving changes to the project or program scope, schedule and costs with communication plan to stakeholders.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment/status meetings & portfolio communication.
- Escalate issues / risks / decisions to management.
- As change occurs, new issues arise or scope increases:
- Gather and communicate dependencies/impacts.
- Facilitate tradeoff conversations with stakeholders and project or program teams.
- Drive and coordinate change control for changes within our tooling across the Jamf portfolio.
- Create weekly centralized dashboards to communicate issues/risks/stats by project and track of work.
- Assist in rolling up portfolio dashboards and communication.
- Support an organizational culture that fosters quality, collaboration, high morale and productivity.
- Ensure resource availability and coordinate resources.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors and internal stakeholders pertaining to scope, timeline or resources.
- Be a senior leader within the PMO by proposing and identifying process gaps for future strategic initiatives, creating documentation templates and processes, recommending and attending education or trainings and team meetings, and support other team members as needed.
- Provide mentorship to other Program Managers
- Identify and close gaps in adherence to best practices and develop processes to prevent recurrence
What we are looking for:
- High School Diploma / GED equivalent (Required)
- 4 year / bachelor's degree (Preferred)
- PMP, PRINCE II PMP, CAPM or equivalent certification (Preferred)
- A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
- Minimum of 5 years of project or program management experience (Required)
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence (Preferred)
- Scrum and/or agile training (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of Aha!, Domo, SalesForce, Monday.com (PD&D Preferred)
- Working knowledge of Service Now SPM and/or other Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) tools. (ETO Preferred)
- Experience managing external vendor relationships (Preferred)
- Self-starter with excellent business/financial acumen
