- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microwave Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience with RF hardware design in mobile phones (e.g., LTE or 5G NR technology), or 3 years of experience with advanced degree.
- Experience with RF board-level design, bring-up, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with RF software tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in RF system and board level design, as well as board-level and firmware debug.
- Experience with cellular 4G/5G RF design.
- Experience with test automation using languages such as Python or LabView.
- Experience using RF equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, vector signal generators, power meters or communication test boxes).
- Knowledge of different wireless communication systems (e.g., 5G NR, LTE, GSM, WCDMA, etc.).

- Architect, design, and perform validation for Pixel mobile devices radio architecture and platform, covering radio technologies (e.g., 5G NR, LTE, 2G, and 3G).
- Drive and work with component vendors and partners to architect, and design RF front-end modules, filters, and critical components.
- Design Printed Circuit Board (PCB) for optimal RF performance.
- Deliver a productized architecture and platform for Pixel mobile devices.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 15%, as needed.
