Description LIFE SKILLS SPECIALISTAbout your role:The Life Skills Specialist ensures that children and families receive life skills training in a caring, competent, and responsible manner; directs and assists families and children to available community services; and provides direct client care.Does the following apply to you?• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university • A minimum of two years of experience working with children/adolescents and/or families • Having excellent knowledge of independent living skills, community resources, referring agencies, court systems, discharge resources, and other services • Sensitive to other cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds • The Life Skills Specialist must be a licensed driver with automobile insurance in good standing and access to reliable transportation at all times.• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification.
