Your Impact: As an HR Business Partner Senior Director, you are responsible for the leadership of an HRBP team supporting multiple divisions. You will have the ability to engage, inspire & develop people, establish operational objectives and work plans, and delegate assignments accordingly. In this role, the Senior Director should:
- Understand and have experience successfully applying a model of change management; has skills to design, partner with and advise on large scale change management efforts.
- Serve as the connector between the business and HR.
- Must have solid communication skills with the ability to develop the trust of business leaders and the support of partners within HR; executive presence is key given that primary clients are generally senior executives/division heads.
- Must be able to craft and deliver messaging that is appropriate for intended audience: verbally; in writing; and through facilitation.
- Be a leader with vision (critical thinker & creative problem solver) in strategic conversations; must have ability to independently and quickly process large amounts of information, connect and integrate data into new solutions or a better understanding of problems, and identify weak spots in plans and programs (examples include workforce shaping, engagement surveys, etc.)
- Must be strong at cultivating relationships, in particular, with key leaders and high potentials; strategically influencing to shift points of view and prompt action when needed; actively networking within the organization.
- Must possess ability to help leaders improve their performance and/or behaviors through guidance and advice; can accurately assess potential (have a great “eye” for talent) and can accelerate the development of talent.
- Approaches problem solving from a business-first perspective; understands what drives business results, including within their reporting area, and how talent management affects operations.
- Possess the ability to represent the business' point of view to advocate for, create or suggest COE support activities and/or a tailored approach to HR support and initiatives.
- 15+ years of related experience; 8+ years of management experience
- College Degree or equivalent work experience; advanced studies/degree preferred
- Experience across multiple areas of Human Resources
- Strong consultation & communication skills
- Change leadership
- Ability to work across silos
- Ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships inside and outside of HRDI
- Intellectual agility and interpersonal flexibility
- Deep curiosity to learn
- Comfortable in the space between no longer and not yet
