Northrop Grumman is seeking a fully remote Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) trainer and training developer to support Intelligence Collectors and Analysts across the military. The candidate will instruct students in the collection and exploitation of Publicly Available Information (PAI) via the use of OSINT tools and through the exploitation of social media and publicly accessible databases. They will instruct students in the gathering, synthesis, and analysis of open-source intelligence information in support of objectives related to force protection, counterterrorism, counternarcotic, and other areas of the U. S. Army’s intelligence mission, to include how to respond to Requests for Information. As a training developer, the candidate will assist in designing and delivering programs to train all levels of personnel. If selected they will need to keep abreast of modern training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. They may also be required to support operational planning, technical papers and other tasks as directed by the customer, and or develop in-house programs and practices that identify developmental needs, create solutions to address them, and be responsible for developing and delivering e-learning programs. The candidate will assist in the development of tests and visual aids, conduct training classes, and create criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. If selected, you will be working in a critical and fast-moving position that is setting the standard for OSINT across the Intelligence Community. This position could require travel up to 30% and is fully remote with the headquarters located at Fort Belvoir VA. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree and 10 years' experience or Master's degree with 8 years' experience Top Secret/SCI security clearance • Graduate of one the U.S. Army OSINT courses (e.g., OSINT Basic Course (OBC), OS300, OS301/OS302) • Be a graduate of the TRADOC Instructors course • 8+yr demonstrated Intelligence experience • Experience utilizing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) OSINT tools which includes but are not limited to the Berber Hunter Tool Kit applications (e.g., SILO, SCRAAWL, Data Miner, and Babel). • Demonstrated experience in a field related to OSINT research, collection management, or analysis or the exploitation of PAI or social media • Must have demonstrated knowledge of signature reduction and experience, collecting, and exploiting from deep web and dark web information. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience conducting Intelligence Analytical support for the DoD • Foreign language capabilities of 2+/2+ DLPT or better • Knowledge of scripting languages and technologies, including Python, Java, R Script, and JEMA *Salary Range: *$90,900 - $136,300 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
