Job Summary: Raytheon Digital Technologies (Digital) is seeking an experienced leader (Senior Manager, M5 level) to drive the successful delivery of Digital/IT services at all sites within the East region. This leader will partner with business and Enterprise stakeholders to accelerate and measure transformational technology evolution while ensuring speed, agility, execution, and value delivery. This role will be responsible for overseeing the integration of all Digital Services to the sites within the East Region and engagements with Site Executives and leadership teams to include understanding priorities for sites within the East region, areas of concern, opportunities for change, demand planning and improvements. The Regional Lead will provide employee assessments (performance monitoring and impact discussions), oversight of projects within their region, and escalation interface to suppliers and DIGITAL leadership for the sites. It requires close partnership with other DIGITAL entities across Enterprise Services (ES), Raytheon and RTX Company to communicate and drive adoption at of ES and Raytheon DIGITAL Technology direction and implement ES and Raytheon DIGITAL standards throughout the sites. This is a high impact role needing leadership skills and applicable technical and operational experience. The Regional Site Services Leader will be involved with implementing processes for the department and ensuring compliance with those processes within their assigned region.
- Reporting to the Raytheon Site services Leader, this position will lead a diverse team in supporting mission critical DIGITAL services in the East region.
- Responsible for people management including hiring, staff development, training, and performance appraisals, leading a team of Digital Technology professionals.
- Manage a team in a matrix organization (i.e., performance development, career coaching, mentoring, training, resource / talent management, etc.).
- This role will work on-site at one of Raytheon’s East Region US Locations, so the selected applicant must be located within Commuting distance to one of the Raytheon sites in this East Region.
- States in East Region: MA, NH, RI, CT, NY, ME, VT, HI, AK, VA, FL, MD, PA, GA, NC, SC, NJ, DE, DC, WV
- Applicable sites: MA-Andover, MA-Tewksbury, MA-Marlborough, MA-Woburn, RI-Portsmouth, VA-Sterling (Dulles).
- Distributed Sites: Arlington (Rosslyn) VA, Arlington (Crystal City) VA, Chesapeake VA
- Selected applicant will be required to travel to all Eastern region sites occasionally as business needs dictate.
- All leadership/managerial tasks associated with leading a team of Site Service Leads for the East region.
- Assist the Site Services Leader/Director to establish and maintain roadmap, vision, strategy, and goals to align with enterprise roadmaps, as well as business and customer requirements to drive business value.
- Ensure DIGITAL service excellence and execution across all sites within the East region, in close partnership with Raytheon Digital and Enterprise technologists and service owners.
- Provide oversight to various DIGITAL site leaders across the Eastern region, including performance development, compensation planning, staffing, oversight of projects, escalation interface and leadership. employee assessments to include performance assessments and compensation planning.
- Create, foster, and maintain Digital Technology, site leadership, and DIGITAL service owner relationships to drive and prioritize DIGITAL services delivery for the East region.
- Ensure accountability and cooperation from service owners as related to audit and compliance activities across the East region.
- Engage with regional Facilities leads to ensure reservable hybrid/remote work points are equipped with standard DIGITAL peripherals ensuring a positive user experience when onsite.
- Continually improve overall end user experience & engagement from executives to all Raytheon employees in the region.
- Support DIGITAL AOP forecast for the services provided, including all sub frameworks, capital planning and expenditures.
- Represents Digital Technology as the accountable representative at the site to oversee site efforts to maintain compliance with Raytheon policy in unclassified environments, in collaboration with Digital Technology Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
- Communicates yearly site audit and assessment schedule to all pertinent stakeholders once it is received from Governance, Risk and Compliance.
- Partners with Digital Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to support site compliance assessments to ensure all site-specific processes, tools, documentation, and control hygiene are audit ready, and to ensure successful Digital audits.
- Helps identify service owners, who work with GRC and the site lead to translate assessment and audit observations into actionable improvements to be completed by service owners.
- Partners with service owners to update and track compliance related improvement activities and work with the Compliance working group and appropriate leaders to remove barriers to progress.
- Represents Digital Technology on the Site Incident Support Team (SIST).
- Communicates and drives adoption of DIGITAL technology direction.
- Collaborate with service architects to discuss impact of new technologies and architecture roadmap.
- Manage, monitor, and update DIGITAL Service risks and opportunities within the region to support business and company goals.
- Drive Service Delivery of in scope services, including:
- Ensure appropriate Change Management and training plans are executed for each service / project.
- Leverage service metrics to drive improvements and educate leadership.
- Deliver new Concept of Operations documentation and ensure existing documentation is maintained and updated.
- Role typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant work experience, and advanced degree with 8 years relevant experience, or associates with 12 years’ relevant experience. In Lieu of degree, 14 years of relevant experience will be considered.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience in overseeing and managing a team in an IT generalist /Digital Site Services oriented environment.
- Experience managing IT Service vendors / service providers.
- Experience as a leader of people.
- Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in STEM or IT/Digital related major curriculum.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
- Prior experience supporting an operations & manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning and ability to translate strategy to action and results.
- Project management leadership experience by leading development and execution of complex project plans
- 10 years’ experience; preferably across multiple domain areas such as program management, service management, digital technology, or engineering
- Experience managing end to end services leveraging Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices.
- Experience improving the product lifecycle (concept through sustainment) by identifying and leading value-added enhancements to key value streams and continuous improvement practices.
- Experience briefing at the executive/business leadership level.
- Previous success in managing large, complex projects, products, or services simultaneously (with multiple funding sources) and developing creative and innovative solutions for large-scale business challenges.
- ITIL Certification.
- Currently active US DoD Secret / Top Secret Security Clearance
- IT Project Management Certification
