You do not have to have previous comms or nuclear experience; we will provide the training and tools to help grow the skills you will need to become a subject matter expert. What YOU will do: The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. - YOU will manage the scope, schedule, and budget that is defined within a Cost Account (CA) for an agile software development project.
- YOU will transform contractual requirements and statement of work into an executable integrated cost and schedule plan.
- YOU will define detailed objective completion criteria or Quantifiable Backup Data (QBD) measuring work package accomplishment.
- YOU will monitor and report performance against plans to ensure contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
- YOU will forecast budget and completion date estimates for work packages defined in the CA.
- YOU will apply company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure plans are in compliance.
- YOU will communicate and collaborate with other Senior and Principal Level Software Engineers in multiple domains to solve technical issues and to provide stakeholders with situational awareness to facilitate decision making.
- YOU will be responsible for producing quantifiable earned value metrics and performance measures (CV, SV, SPI, CPI, TCPI, etc.) for the integrated cost and schedule plans.
- YOU will provide monthly and quarterly reports on current earned value metrics.
- YOU will analyze CA performance, trends, perform root cause analyses and prepare variance reports.
- You will have opportunity to learn and grow knowledge within the Strategic Nuclear Deterrence domain.
- You will increase your knowledge and proficiency managing integrated cost and schedule for DoD EVMS projects.
- You will gain valuable experience and an opportunity to lead beyond the Cost Account Manager position, including roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Software Lead.

- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required for this role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Professional experience on a Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition contract, preferably, requiring Earned Value Management System (EVMS) as either a Cost Account Manager (CAM), financial analyst, integrated program scheduler, or project leadership role.
- Familiarity with National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Earned Value Management Systems EIA-748 Intent Guidelines.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
- Advanced experience in MS Excel and MS Project.
- Defense contractor EVMS certification or equivalent.
- Familiarity with DAU EVMS "gold card".
- Familiarity with the DoD EVMS Implementation Guide (EVMSIG).
- Familiarity with the DoD Agile and Earned Value Management: A program Managers Desk Guide.
- Familiarity with Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis (DI-MGMT-81861C) monthly reporting requirements.
- Participated in Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and/or DCMA surveillance audits.
