While working in operations, you will be responsible for building small components while paying great attention to detail. This role is for final packaging and will require experience in that field. Attention to detail and ability to work under a microscope while performing the task. Working in a team environment you will be tasked to rotate between labs and support numerous operations and build process. Responsibilities to Anticipate: - Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over applicable variables, and services, troubleshoots and solves production process problems with processes or equipment already in operation. - Conducts production builds while working with small hand tools. All work is done by following Quality test procedures & Work instructions. There is no deviation when working on all production work. - Experience in bag & tag production line. - Prior work history working with leak check equipment. - Great attention to detail - You will be tasks to perform different types of assembly work and must be able to rotate to support test functions throughout the factory. Basic Qualifications:
- Typically Requires: HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with RADP system
- Knowledge of how to read and work with schematics
- Experience in kitting cable/harness builds
- Experience in dealing with Safety & FOD audits
- Inventory experience in a factory or warehouse setting
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
- Works well under general supervision.
- Applies intermediate skills, may adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, etc.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
- May assist in orienting, training, assigning and checking the work of technical/business support employees.
