The Acceptance team is part of the Merchant Sales and Acquiring (MS&A) hub organization. This is a team of thought leaders and execution-focused specialists who deploy acceptance growth initiatives and seller-side solutions to catalyze acceptance growth across Asia Pacific. The team is also the regional co-ordination point and interface into the global verticals and segments and drives the overall strategy for Small/Medium Business (SMB).
As a key member of this team based in Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for identifying and delivering on Acceptance opportunities within the SMB space. You will leverage your domain expertise in payments to help grow SMB Acceptance through helping clients to design a best-in-class go-to-market approach, implementing & supporting SMB commercial programs, and driving revenue growth for both the clients and Visa.
This role will report to Director of SMB Acceptance in AP.
Qualifications
8 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 3-6 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Clear understanding of the operational setup, payment needs, and surrounding challenges faced by micro & small merchants, with the ability to identify the best solutions to address them.
• High proficiency in Microsoft tools and strong conceptual & logical skills to express ideas in a structured fashion
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience in working on business/value cases which prove ROI.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across functions and geographies in a complex matrix environment.
• Team player who can develop strong internal and external relationships ensuring uptake and delivery of Visa solutions via effective influencing and communication skills to secure buy-in from clients and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability and ability to manage and progress multiple projects concurrently.
• Openness to change and ability to challenge the status quo with innovative ideas.
• Open to receiving and acting on feedback in a fast-pacing environment.
• Be open minded and excited about future technologies, willing to learn and work in a multi-cultural environment.
