Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Product Manager with a focus on Cybersecurity and Identity to join our talented team. As the Principal Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategic vision for our cybersecurity product portfolio. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise to deliver innovative solutions that address the ever-changing challenges in the cybersecurity landscape. What you get to do in this role:
- Lead the strategy, execution, and overall success of the SecOps product.
- Lead and facilitate engagement with customers and field teams in the planning of the product roadmap, as well as prioritize features based on their input.
- Effectively manage the roadmap, ensuring consensus and coordinating with a team of engineers and designers to deliver high-quality user experiences on schedule.
- Generate compelling, market-validated use cases and spearhead ideation sessions.
- Clearly articulate the value proposition at various levels, tailoring the message for different audience types such as customers, partners, decision-makers, business professionals, sales teams, and industry analysts.
- Drive product launch activities in collaboration with product, field, and marketing teams across ServiceNow.
- Maintain a proactive research stance, staying abreast of changes in market needs and the competitive landscape to influence product direction and provide support to the sales organization.
- Establish measurable business and technical metrics, defining success criteria for your product, and actively monitor progress against the set roadmap to achieve these objectives.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, offering a valuable business perspective on the product's value proposition.
- 8+ years of software product management experience.
- Experience developing strategy, building, and shipping security and/or identity products and features (e.g., IAM Solutions, Cloud Security platforms).
- Solid knowledge and experience with leading IAM vendors and products including but not limited to:
- Identity management
- Privileged Access
- Role and Data Mining
- Access Management
- Directory Management
- Experience on one or more of the following products or areas a big plus : Oracle Identity Manager, Sailpoint, ForgeRock, CA/Exceedium, , Okta, CyberArk, Azure AD, IBM SecurityVerify, OneIdentity, CyberRes, Cisco).
- Deep knowledge of various IAM technologies and how they are applied to support the business services .
- Demonstrated success in a product management with an emphasis on information security solutions in on-Premise, Public Cloud, and Hybrid environments.
- Information Security Certifications e.g. CISSP, CISM a plus.
- Strong prioritization skills and the discipline to focus on high impact activities.
- Experience defining and capturing product requirements and transforming them into a product roadmap.
- Deep curiosity about customer needs and a track record inbuilding customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
- Experience driving solution development through big-picture solution development.
- Ability to serve as a team lead, and coach employees at lower levels.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity and identity concepts, threat landscapes, and industry best practices.
- Working knowledge of modern development platforms and languages – Java, JavaScript, relational databases and SQL, AJAX, JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and associated frameworks
- Experience building SaaS products and API Integrations.
