About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use):13 Location: - All US Remote - East Coast PreferredWhat you will do:We are seeking to add a Director, Corporate Partnerships to our fast-growing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and developing longstanding relationships with current and new strategic partners in the automotive technology industry. These partners provide data and other services that powers our technology and makes our behavior prediction second to none.
- Demonstrate full understanding of our current product offering, roadmap and provide valuable guidance into future strategic goals as it relates to the partnerships or data needed.
- Be knowledgeable with current SOW’s that are currently in place and provide suggestions, gain alignment and execute on needed changes.
- Serve as primary contact for suitable vendors to assess their offerings, negotiate pricing, and communicate any concerns while maintaining corporate responsibility.
- Identify opportunities to leverage exiting partnerships. Renegotiate contracts with current partners.
- Remain well-networked and informed of industry trends to identify and select optimal partners to enhance our existing product and fuel enhancements.
- Draft, review, and manage vendor agreements ensuring they adhere to our global organization’s requirements and are fully compliant and legally binding.
- Develop and sustain a long-standing and mutually beneficial relationship with the partners that translates to a superior product and customer experience.
- Establish standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors. Monitor partner performance against pre-defined KPIs ensuring that the vendors meet their contractual obligations.
- Identify and mitigate vendor-related risks to protect our organization’s assets and reputation.
- Ensure vendor performance is meeting contractual requirements; drive appropriate remedy plans on improvement when needed.
- Project manage and oversee the output of involved teams to ensure that operational issues are identified and resolved upfront before going live and that the relationship is managed effectively throughout the engagement.
- Continuously analyze market data to identify trends, improvement opportunities and cost-saving methods.
- Maintain ongoing alignment and coordination with counterparts across S&P Mobility to ensure synergy and cost-effectiveness.
- Regularly present analysis of partner efficacy and recommendations of new partnerships to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related discipline preferred.
- 10 years of experience in technology/IT vendor management at a fast-growing SaaS organization.
- 5+ Years in Retail Automotive Technology in a similar capacity within Product, Corporate Development, or Strategic Sales.
- Proven ability to foster long term relationships with partners and clients.
- A strong collaborator and influencer in cross functional and interdependent teams.
- Effective analytical skills and experience in vendor pricing methods and methodologies.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment, under pressure of tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time.
- Experience challenging the status quo to identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Ability to travel to partner vendors and conferences
- S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $108,000 to $194,250. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
- In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
