About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use):10 Shift - 2PM to 11PM Excellent knowledge of Relational Database – Oracle• Knowledge of AWS environment and good to have Terraform and Ansible skills• Designing the database structures for new projects, good understanding of data modeling.• Strong knowledge of Materialized views and query rewrite functionality • Install and Upgrade Oracle RAC Clusters• Develop PL SQL Packages, Procedures ,Functions, Triggers • Unix scripts for automatic processing of back end jobs• Maintenance of all database objects and purging process of large tables• Performance tuning which impacts the UI and back end jobs• Work in a team with multiple team members involved, communication with both on-shore and off-shore team members• Work on product support on analysis, fix and patch release process• Provide emergency production support to 24x7 SLA requirement mission critical operations• On-call responsibilities • Gathering the requirement from project manager or the technical leadsEducation & Experience:• Degree in Computer Science or related field• 15+ Years of hands on database development and DBA experiencePersonal Competencies:• Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with debugging tools.• Should be willing to work as individual capacity and in teams across geographies.• Able to manage dependencies and timely manage priority.• Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.• Open minded, flexible and willing to adapt to changing situations.• Focused on delivery.• Must be an excellent communicator both written and verbally.• Must be a strong team player.
