Sr. Major Account Manager, DoD We’re looking for the best of the best to join our Juniper DoD team. If you have a history of cultivating large historic deals, a winning track record and bring a unique knowledge set to the table in the form of relationships, projects and programmatic pursuits – this is a team for you. The DoD Major Account Manager (MAM) is responsible for new and existing business across the specific territory supporting the DoD Community. The MAM will be responsible for constructing and executing short- and medium-term sales strategies in the account. The MAM will work with other team members in forecasting, building pipeline, and customer engagement. Teamwork and leadership are essential qualities in this position. Teamwork skills are of paramount importance. MAM duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Construct an Annual Business Plan focused on near-term and medium-term program opportunities to include Major Programs of Record, Network Refresh, Upgrades, etc.
- Establish and Nurture Relationships with Key Technical, Operational, Acquisition, and Business Executives and Decision Makers
- Represent the Most Pressing Technical, Mission and Business Requirements to Federal and Corporate Leadership.
- All required administrative tasks to include forecasting, program tracking, and other duties as assigned.
- Achieve or Exceed, yearly quota
- US Citizen Requirement
- Current Industry: History of over achievement in sales or engineering positions in the industry
- Prior Service: History of visionary technology initiatives driving new technology concepts into legacy DoD IT environments
- 5+ Years of Sales, Engineering or Program Management Experience or Prior DoD Service related to account assignment.
- Combination of product and services expertise in the networking, software, data center or tactical IT space.
- Strong knowledge set of a DoD Structure, a specific MILDEP preferable and the ability to articulate a strategy around driving business into the target market.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
