To be successful in this role you will need the following:

·       Basic literacy and numeracy.

·       To be able to read and understand written instructions to apply to production.

·       Previous assembly experience in a production/factory environment is preferred but not essential.

·       Experience of operating fork-lift trucks and other site vehicles would be an advantage.

 We are looking for several Material Handler to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Engine Business Segment in Darlington.

 This is a 1-month fixed term Cummins contract working 37.5 hours per week across the following shift pattern.

• Days – Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:00
• Backs – Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 22:00 Friday 14:00 – 19:10
• Nights – Sunday to Thursday 22:00 – 06:00

 Salary is £26,651.78 plus shift premium.

 In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Materials Handlers are responsible for the on-time and accurate delivery of materials and components for production/assembly operations.
• Shift working on a fast-paced production line, to support materials requirements for building diesel engines by following standard operating procedures/disciplined methods.
• You will undertake a wide range of repetitive tasks involving lifting, bending, carrying, and handling of components.
• To work to disciplined methods/standard operations.
