Do you have excitement and passion for quality and automation? Are you looking to work with one of the largest, most stable news and broadcasting organizations in the country? If so, we are looking for you! We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineer. Our client owns and operates 33 television stations and two radio stations, reaching 21 million U.S. television households across 39 states. Their stations operate web and mobile platforms which reach 40 million unique visitors every month. Help create memorable consumer experiences on iOS, Android, OTT and websites in addition to ensuring a smooth workflow for content teams via an in-house CMS.

This is a unique opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented problem solver. The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will help deliver the highest quality experience to our end users while supporting end-to-end product development, from inception to launch and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and comprehend requirements, specifications and technical design documents for the client's digital products, including responsive websites and apps for mobile and OTT devices.
  • Collaborate with manual QA analysts and identify specific cases that should be automated.
  • Write and edit high-quality scripts to test product functionality automatically.
  • Create effective automated test plans.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers) to understand project concepts and objectives and to find ways automated testing can improve workflows.
  • Stay up-to-date with new automated testing tools and test strategies.


Qualifications

Requirements

- Proven work experience in software quality assurance.Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.

- Experience with Selenium and JavaScript.Experience with test management tools, such as TestRail.

- Knowledge of version control tools, such as Git.Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

 

Experience

- A minimum of two years of experience, preferably five, working in a Quality Assurance capacity.

- Experience with automated testing tools, such as Cucumber/Gherkin, WebdriverIO and Browserstack preferred.
