Global Intelligence and Analytics (GIA) is used by senior executives within multinational corporations, political organizations, governments and NGOs to underpin critical strategic decisions and provide them with a 360-degree perspective on what matters most to their business or organization. 

With comprehensive and consistent data, economic forecasting models, granular country risk, trade and maritime data, industry forecasts, commodity prices, and unmatched expertise, we enable customers to identify and optimize opportunities and monitor and mitigate risks across the globe. 

Our Americas team is looking for a new team member to join the existing team of 14 we work closely with the 300+ researchers, 30+ product management team and 40+ Consultants in ECR to add value to our customers’ strategic planning processes. 

Responsibilities and Impact:

We are looking for Client Manager will be responsible for maintaining and building strong commercial relationships with existing clients to renew book of business and find new opportunities in their client set for services from Global Intelligence and Analytics within MI.

  • Quickly build strong relationships and networks with key stakeholders, leaders, and decision-makers at client across several key industry segments.
  • Work with clients to ensure successful and happy use of range of subscription services, Illicit information, and insight to unmet needs across your client set and match to broader capabilities.
  • Be responsible for negotiation of renewals and their successful and timely execution
  • Develop account plants with new business partners to effectively grow the current spend across your clients.
  • Monitor relevant developments in your clients and their end markets to drive engagement
  • Work cooperatively and proactively with research, product and strategic engagement teams to deliver insight to client markets and inform ongoing priorities

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of client management/account management experience selling and supporting subscription based services. Ideally you will have experience with data and analysis/research led sales.
  • You will need to demonstrable ability to consistently hit quota.

  • Proficient knowledge in relevant tools (Linkedin, Salesforce.com, Sales Navigator, CapIQ Pro, Zoom)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment that requires the ability to multi-task and consistently execute high-priority commercial objectives.

Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates):

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $56,392 - $113,135 Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
