The mission of GSX Demos is to build, deliver and support demonstration environments for use by our solution engineers (SEs) here at Salesforce. These demonstration environments incorporate the latest product capabilities that Salesforce has to offer. With these demo environments, SEs have the baseline demo that they need to deliver a best practice demo for Financial Services and enable our SEs to scale, innovate and provide the best product demonstrations of their careers. 

Role Description:
We are looking for a Product Owner to join our demo team, responsible for the Financial Services Industry Demo Org. In this role you would own the demo environment from idea to reality, project managing the demo creation process including managing a product backlog, use case/feature prioritization, storyboarding, validation, demo build, release communication and enablement. This is your chance to define the future and set the standard for how Salesforce solution engineers (SEs) demonstrate our solutions to Financial Services prospects and customers.

Basic Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, Information Sciences preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years work experience.
  • Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication and relationship skills
  • Experience administering Salesforce using the force.com platform
  • Project management skills to orchestrate complex projects.
  • Strong project and time management skills, and the ability to support multiple, complex, concurrent projects
  • Technical aptitude to understand data models, system integration, data migration, and how to implement Salesforce.
  • Ability to recruit and lead a cross-functional team to accomplish project goals.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Scrum and Agile mindset


Preferred Requirements: 

  • Experience in pre-sales, Salesforce Implementation or Salesforce Administration 
    • Previous FINS SE is ideal
  • Experience working with/for companies in the Financial Services industry.
  • Salesforce certifications - Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder and PMP


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Project/Program Management:
    • Manage end-to-end IDO Lifecycle, including owning/managing the product backlog, prioritization, roadmap creation, and cross-functional coordination.
    • Collaborate and partner closely with design, front-end resources, and back-end developers for major release updates.
    • Comprehensive Tools: Utilize advanced tools for data gathering and decision-making.
  • Vision & Strategy:
    • Define and evolve the overarching vision and long-term strategy for Industry demos.
    • Regularly meet with industry stakeholders to align with market trends and business objectives.
    • Perform rigorous assessment of potential candidates for inclusion in the IDO against key criteria requirements.
    • Base decisions on thorough data analysis, merging data insights with stakeholder perspectives.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
    • Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and foster collaboration.
    • Own live demo assets, create and maintain demo enablement assets, and communicate demo release updates.
    • Collaborative Trend Analysis: Engage with other Product Owners to review emerging trends and shape decisions collaboratively.
    • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align decisions with specialized expertise.
  • Leadership:
    • Lead key IDO initiatives and collaborate across QGSX Demos
    • Manage industry partnerships and stay informed about industry trends.
  • In-depth Industry & Product KnowledgeKnowledge:
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the product architecture, capabilities, and limitations.

Represent the Business:

    • Act as the primary representative of the IDO initiative to internal and external stakeholders globally/
