- Be responsible and accountable for the development of the best engineering strategy to deliver the Operational objectives of the Mahwah business
- Work in harmony with the Operations manager, Advanced Operations and Quality leaders to provide leadership and a consistent focus on product and process quality
- Lead a team of assigned engineers and other functional professionals to deliver specific project objectives which support the operations strategy
- Develop and complete IDP’s and performance reviews with assigned engineers to provide structured development opportunities to improve performance and engagement
- Liaise with other function leaders where appropriate to ensure the engineering teams comply with and support cross functional best practice in GMP’s, GDP’s, Finance Processes, Compliance Initiatives and EHS Requirements
- Engage and participate in supporting the delivery of the BU’s KPI’s by continuously improving the performance of the business by providing technical solutions to operational issues
- Support all capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, Installation and validation as required
- Deliver process development and cost reduction activities on specific projects that you and your team are assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience required
- Previous leadership/ people management experience required
- Proven experience in Lean Tools/Methodology -highly preferred
