Working within the Technology Evangelist team of the Microsoft Business Unit Division of SoftwareONE UAE, the Technology Evangelist represents a key function of SoftwareONE’s global strategy. SoftwareONE’s ambition is to become the global leader for independent technology advice. The Technology Evangelist acts in partnership with our Business Development Managers to engage with the executive teams at key clients to deliver envisioning sessions through the delivery of our Microsoft Experience Centre and working with the clients to define a strategy relevant to their business. The key responsibilities of the Technology Strategist will be:

• Enagage with SoftwareONE and Microsoft Sales Teams to define account strategies and target key clients for the delivery of the sessions.
• Work in collaboration with the other functions of the Technology Solution Division to drive greater depth of engagement with clients.
• Act as representative of SoftwareONE’s Solution Division at key events and partner engagements

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and support in all aspects of the Pre-Sales and Delivery to fulfil the requirements of the role, including but not limited to:
  • Attend to projects and see them through to completion
  • Prepare and conduct customer and partner workshops
  • Compile customer documentation
  • Present solutions to customers
• Support with the development of sales materials for the solution offerings
• Manage and maintain our pre-sales capabilities, to ensure we have an effective and efficient process to add a competitive edge. Ie/ Cloud Lab, Pre-engagement materials, etc
• Assist with Training of Sales Floor and mentoring of nominated Business Development Managers
• Maintain a high level of industry awareness through training and self-development
