About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use):09 The Team: Loan Platforms within Lending Solutions Business Segment form the industry standard, web-based platform dedicated to automating the lifecycle of trades in the global loan markets. The loan settlement platform simplifies trade settlement by providing a fully digitized, integrated, collaborative, real-time platform for buyers, sellers, service providers and agent banks to capture, acknowledge, and settle primary and secondary market loan trades. It provides secure messaging solutions to improve settlement liquidity and efficiency in the loan markets, facilitates post-trade automation, and provide real-time reporting based on the status of open and historical trades. The wider business includes the leading global site for loan position reconciliation as well as secure wire instructions / administrative details, making our team a highly desirable environment for technology professionals interested in working for the global leader in the syndicated loan ecosystem. Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with product team to understand the requirements from business perspective
  • Design and write test cases, Execute/run test cases, review test results and report defects using any test management tool / Defect Management tool – preferably Azure Devops/JIRA
  • Should be able to execute automation scripts and analyze automation results
  • Provide daily update to test lead on test prep, execution, and defects summary
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  • Experience of working in agile environment and with geographically distributed teams
  • API testing – hands-on experience on RESTful design / best practices. Experience of testing APIs and test tools like SoapUI / Swagger is desirable
  • Identify test cases suitable for automation and performance testing.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Experience on Azure DevOps/JIRA
