About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use):08 The Team - The team is responsible for implementing GRC solution for corporate risk group across the board. As an Open Page Support Engineer, you will be part of a scrum team of developers & QA Engineers focused on delivering and implementation of Enterprise and Technology risk requirements using IBM Open Pages tool. The role requires configuration and customization of the tool according to business requirements, Documenting, testing, and maintenance of features, including collaboration with IBM technology team to ensure timely delivery. The Impact - The role provides exposure to the S&P Risk framework, business and functional model. This position closely works with the business team and development team to understand requirements and with the Vendor to test and implement the solution. The applications being worked on are extremely important and highly critical to the business. This position is extremely important to deliver what our customer needs and have faster time to market. The position requires daily interaction with senior leaders throughout S&P Global and touches upon all aspects of Compliance and Risk. As an Operations engineer, you will have the opportunity to independently work on deliverables of the project end to end and collaborate with Vendors, developers,business analysts and Product owners who are experts in their domain that can help you to build multiple skillsets. What We’re Looking For - Provide support to stakeholders by answering queries and resolving issues related to the IBM OpenPages Enterprise Risk Management tool or Actimize tool. Training will be provided to learn and become proficient in using IBM OpenPages Enterprise Risk Management tool and Actimize tool Communicate with stakeholders through calls and emails, ensuring timely and effective resolution of their concerns. Attend scrum meetings to discuss project updates, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with the team. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to the tool and risk management practices. Assist in the configuration and customization of the tool according to business requirements. Collaborate with the development team to identify and report any bugs or system issues. Document and maintain records of support activities, resolutions, and stakeholder interactions. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in risk management to provide optimal support and guidance to stakeholders. Assist in testing new features and enhancements of the tool, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement. Basic Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: 1-3 years of IT experience. Basic understanding of software life cycle. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with SQL queries and creating reports, shell scripting & web services.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members. Proficiency in English is essential.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues, identify solutions, and implement them effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and resolution of issues.
- Problem-solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to address stakeholder concerns and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Learning Agility: Willingness and ability to learn new technologies, tools, and concepts related to Enterprise Risk Management and the IBM OpenPages tool.
