Job Description Your role: The Analyst, AUM Reporting - Global Business Services, will be responsible for developing workflows and automation to drive process efficiencies in the production of assets under management reporting. Serves as a liaison between Finance and Technology to deliver on-going enhancements to reporting. - Championing automation throughout the Finance GBS team across Revenue and Assets under Management (AUM) reporting
- Maintaining the month end AUM reporting for the global view (North America, EMEA) process workflows (Alteryx, Excel).
- Developing and supporting automation of GBS processes utilizing Alteryx workflows and Excel for the AUM and Revenue processes. Providing oversight, advice and review of AUM and Revenue workflows
- Driving significant improvements and efficiencies in process workflows and monthly reporting
- Preparing AUM automation and improvements for reporting for Daily and Monthly views for the business line managers and executive management.
- Assisting with the new account setup documentation for new accounts in Oracle.
- Assisting with ad hoc AUM/Revenue reporting (internal and external)
- Performing special analysis and tasks as required by Finance department managers.
- Maintaining proper Sarbanes-Oxley documentation on areas of responsibility in scope for SOX audits and ensure compliance with documented controls.
- Performing account analyses and variance analyses. Identifying variances, determining causes of variances, and documenting findings.
- Building relationships with key peers and business partners to ensure team is effective; collaborate and stand in for other GBS Finance Managers and Directors as required
- In collaboration with the Global Shared Service Center/Hyderabad Team, preparing assets under management and product flow reporting including, but not limited to:
- Preparation of Daily Flows / Large Flow / monthly sales reporting
- Monthly AUM submissions – compilation of local business unit assets for corporate reporting
- Working in automation and continuous improvement environment
- Supporting work transitions to offshore shared service center, including documentation of accounting processes, training resources, and providing post transition support
- Providing assistance to clients (primarily Invesco employees) on matters related to areas of responsibility.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems highly recommended; Accounting or Finance acceptable with strong understanding of systems/applications
- Experience working with Alteryx or spreadsheet intensive assignments highly preferred. Experience working with Oracle Cloud Financials a plus.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with a variety of individuals across functions and geographic locations.
- Must demonstrate strong analytical skills and be proficient in reviewing financial data.
- High degree of adaptability to change is required. Demonstrated ability to work within international matrix reporting lines a plus.
- Ability to utilize computer equipment and software, specifically spreadsheet applications (Excel, Alteryx).
- Ability to cooperate in a team environment is critical.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials is preferred.
