Morgan Stanley at Work provides a comprehensive offering to Nonqualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC) plan sponsors and executive/plan participants. NQDC offers oversight and recommendations to plan sponsors in the design and administration of NQDC plans, including funding optimization strategies. Morgan Stanley at Work also creates NQDC education materials and provide financial wellness through Financial Advisors to assist executives with implementing holistic and tax efficient wealth management strategies across their assets. 

Position Summary:
The Executive Director, Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Sales and Plan Consulting will be responsible for driving sales growth by engaging Financial Advisors and other client facing teams to help promote and support NQDC plan sales. This role will work directly with Financial Advisors and client facing teams to help guide NQDC plan opportunities through the sales process which includes lead identification, prospect nurturing, sales execution, and client onboarding.  The Executive Director will also work directly with prospective and existing clients to consult on NQ plan design, informal funding and ongoing support of their NQDC plans.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•    Responsible for establishing and achieving annual NQDC sales goals
•    Drive sales of NQDC plans by working with financial advisors and other client facing teams on prospective clients sourced from Morgan Stanley’s existing book of corporate clients
•    Guide and support financial advisors and other client facing teams through all phases of the sales journey from prospecting to client onboarding
•    Manage the sales process and create a continuous feedback loop to ensure lead progression through the sales funnel
•    Consult with financial advisors and other client facing teams on sales positioning based on client’s NQDC plan needs and goals
•    Present on client calls to promote the value of Morgan Stanley to plan sponsors
•    Lead and deliver client finalist meeting presentations coordinating with other NQDC subject matter experts as needed
•    Work consultatively with prospective and existing clients to establish new plans, assess or benchmark existing plans and evaluate informal funding options
•    Educate financial advisors and other client facing teams on the marketing resources available to them and their clients
•    Document all engagement in CRM software for tracking and monitoring
•    Develop and foster relationships with financial advisors and other client facing teams to become a trusted and ongoing sales resource

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree required
•    8+ years related industry and sales and consulting experience
•    FINRA Series SIE, 7, 63 and 65 or 66 in lieu of 63 and 65 are required for this role. 
•    Insurance and Annuities licenses or ability to obtain within 90 days 
•    Deep Corporate Owned Life Insurance product knowledge
•    Experience working with Financial Advisors in a sales capacity
•    Proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office Suite 
•    Superior organizational, interpersonal and client service skills
•    Flexible, team player with the ability to think creatively and strategically
•    Deadline oriented and works well under pressure
•    Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
•    Positive contributor to our team’s culture

Salary range for the position: [$150,000 - $235,000] Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
