LOCATION: Remote U.S.
OVERVIEW
You will play an important role in the creation and maintenance of both domestic and international drug file and core concept data embedded content and is a necessary component in the strategy for expansion into international markets. You will report to the Manager, Content Editing.
RESPONSIBILITITES
- Participates in the development/maintenance/QA of detailed and specialized embedded drug file content to support proprietary international and domestic databases.
- Uses multiple data sources and clinical and technical expertise to create relevant, clinically meaningful data used in prescribing, dispensing, administration, and claims adjudication.
- Creates and revises high quality embedded drug information consistent with the format and structure of the databases.
- Anticipates problems or issues and identifies creative ways to solve problems or mitigate risks.
- Achieves productivity metrics.
- Shares information and expertise with colleagues at all levels.
- Participates in the process of new product development, product design, and Content Management System (CMS) tool enhancements.
- Provides customer and client support.
- Responds to queries regarding content.
- Works with other departments and authors to improve data/products and their appeal to selected segments of the market.
- Understands unique policies that apply to all content sets.
- Possesses a solid understanding of data use by customers.
- Assists in creation of policies for content.
- Uses technical skills to promote innovation, efficiency, and quality data.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or related field; or equivalent experience (2+ years of experience with drug data in place of a degree)
Experience
- 2+ years’ experience with drug data, Electronic Medical Records (EMR); or 5+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or other health related profession.
- Experience with leadership
- Intermediate to advance Microsoft Office
- Work collaboratively with internal and external partners
TRAVEL: Minimal travel required. Less than 5% of time.
