    Overview:

    As Sales Development Specialist, you are an ambassador of Waters and will bring to the market Waters’ products and services. You will demonstrates a clear grasp of understanding the customers’ business and its growth plans, as well as be able to take the knowledge and convert that into a solution and offering from Waters, with a primary aim of bringing “customer success”.

    Responsibilities:
    • Planning, and executing the customer LC-MS demonstrations with collaboration of Sales and Marketing Department;
    • Run customer samples by LC-MS, while generating reports in an effort to close sales.
    • Provide Applications support for pre and post sales activities for LC-MS product in Waters.
    • Collaborating, liaising and providing guidance and support across departments to ensure customer success. You will be working closely with all other groups at Waters (e.g. Instrument Sales, Marketing, Chemistry Operation and Informatics etc.);
    • Keep current on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and competitive information,
    • Presentation of Waters LC-MS Products & application solutions to customers and marketing events etc for different market segments like Chemical materials, Food&Enviorment, BMR, Academics etc,
    • Provide teach training courses, both lecture based and hands-on at customer sites.
    • Provide post sales training and trouble-shooting.
    • Teach demonstrations at field Demo Lab and at customer sites.
    • Provide technical expertise to customers and Sales Representative by email, phone, and in person.

     

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Degree /Master/PhD in scientific areas such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry or a related field of science

     

    Experience:

    • Strong technical background in analytical technologies, especially LC and MS
    • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant industrial experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory, with a background in chromatography and mass spectrometry;  ideally in LC-HRMS
    • Has a keen knowledge-base of the science of chemistry, analytical chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry or a related field of science; Exposure within relevant field/industry;
    • Action oriented and eager to achieve results
    • Sound communication and presentation skills
    • Matured disposition, positive attitude and strong sense of commitment
    • Adaptive to a dynamic and ever-changing environment
    • Ability to travel by both air and ground carrier.

     

     Travel:

    • This is a territory-based position that sometimes requires travel within a designated region to participate in activities such as department management, local application support, conferences and training.
