Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Real Estate, the Senior Financial Analyst - Strategic Finance, supports long term strategic planning for the organization, which includes managing the company’s capital budget, cash flow forecasting and long-term scenario planning. Must be able to fulfill ad hoc requests from various internal sources to support decision-making and provide necessary insight to executives. Individuals must be flexible, proactive, and able to work with ambiguity.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analytical support of all financing-related activities, including Excel modeling, report generation, and coordinating with the Asset Management, Operations and Accounting teams to review and analyze, asset-level and corporate financial results and operating performance metrics and communicate those to the various lending groups.
  • Build underwriting and financial models to support various types of debt financing structures including key metrics/terms and covenants.
  • Work with senior finance TEAm members to ensure compliance with lender and/or servicer requirements and debt covenants, including creation of all necessary reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive debt-related documentation, including offering memoranda, term sheets, and financial reports.
  • Work through monthly funding requests under financing agreements, including associated documentation requirements.
  • Track macroeconomic and market-specific performance indicators within the real estate market. Assist with collection, synthesis, and modeling of data in support of analysis of strategic initiatives, capital allocation, and asset management decisions.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for the Company’s Senior Management Team, Board of Directors, current and/or potential investors, and current and/or potential lenders.

Supervisory:

  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • MBA preferred
  • 4-6 years business-related experience in corporate finance, CPG and/or manufacturing industry preferred
  • Investment banking experience in capital markets, M&A for privately help companies beneficial
  • Experience in financial valuation modeling including ROI, DCF, IRR and advanced Excel proficiency
