The ServiceNow Presales Solution Consultant is an important member of the ServiceNow Sales Team at SoftwareOne  

This role provides recommendations to clients by actively participating in client presales and sales calls to understand business requirements, drivers, and pain points. They will facilitate scoping sessions with the client to clearly define scope of work, timelines, and costs for Statements of Work (SOW). The ServiceNow Presales Solution Consultant will work closely with various resources both inside and outside of the organization including SoftwareONE sales, service, and marketing teams.

 

How will I make an impact

  • Accelerate sales stages by:
    • Conducting market & potential client research; sharing knowledge with sales team prior to sales calls
    • Creating and maintaining presales and sales collateral
    • Creating and maintaining stakeholder mapping documentation
    • Providing functional and ServiceNow technical demos, when required
  • Actively participate in client presales and sales calls to understand business requirements, drivers, and pain points associated with potential project
  • Facilitate scoping sessions with the client to clearly define scope of work, timelines, and costs for the Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Supported by the proposal writer and other team members, create a budgetary proposal and/or Statement of Work (SOW)
  • As the sales stages progress, confirm procurement, approval, and onboarding process with the client
  • Work closely with the Sales Team and Delivery Teams to bridge the gap/share knowledge on the client requirements and current state
  • Facilitate sales-> project knowledge transfer sessions after a sale closes
  • Support account planning and building strategies to drive cross-selling opportunities
  • Contribute content to Request for Proposal (RFP)s
  • To maintain ServiceNow partnership status, create and maintain deal registrations in the ServiceNow Partner Portal
  • Create and maintain opportunity information in Beniva &/or SoftwareOne CRM
  • Identify & support the development of new service offerings
  • Review delivered projects to identify pre-sales and sales continuous improvement opportunities e.g., Improve resource estimates, deliverables, timelines etc.
