If so, read on. We are looking for a person to join our Data and AI team. We are looking to expand our knowledge of the Azure platform, so we need a person who enjoys developing data projects on Azure.
What will be your role?
You are going to participate in Data and Machine Learning projects going forward. Some of your functions will be:
- Design and Develop Data Solutions: Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and design effective and scalable data solutions in the Azure cloud.
- Implement Data Pipelines: Develop robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Azure Fabric, as well as other Azure tools for ingesting, transforming and loading data from various sources into target systems.
- Create Data Models: Design and build optimized data models to support advanced analytics and BI applications, ensuring data integrity and quality.
Optimize Performance: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in pipelines and databases, implementing optimization and tuning techniques to improve efficiency and scalability. - Automate Processes: Develop scripts and automation tools for the implementation of data quality and performance optimization techniques.
Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with development teams, data analysts, data scientists and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver effective, business-driven solutions.
Provide Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to other team members in the design, development and maintenance of Azure cloud data solutions.
Stay updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the field of data engineering and Azure cloud, participating in training and certification activities as needed.
Contribute to Data Culture: Promote a data culture within the company, encouraging best practices in the management and use of data for informed decision making.
