    Job Description

    The People Operations Process Lead plays a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing our HR processes using Workday. This position involves defining, transforming, and streamlining complex processes, collaborating with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify improvement opportunities, and ensuring the effective implementation of end-to-end solutions based on product strategy and functionality.
     

    What You'll Do:

    • Process Design and Transformation:

      • Partner with TS Specialist to understand, define and transform complex processes  and how the many modules across Workday can better enable those workflows.

      • Facilitate sessions with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify improvement opportunities and future state requirements.

      • Analyze existing processes to identify gaps and opportunities for simplification and standardization.

      • Translate business and functional requirements into technical requirements and implementation plans.

    • Solution Design and Implementation:

      • Responsible for the high-level design and end-to-end solutions based on product strategy and functionality.

      • Identify relevant mitigating strategies.

      • Find opportunities to improve the configuration of existing features and drive ongoing efficiency and continued improvement of core configurations.

      • Manage change in different processes effectively.

    • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

      • Collaborate with functional users to improve business processes by identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

      • Evaluate new Workday features and modules to determine potential use cases and return on investment.

      • Partner with functional SMEs, business analysts, change managers, security experts, and other stakeholder groups to ensure alignment and implement effective solutions to key business problems.

    • Continuous Improvement:

      • Participate in Workday bi-annual release planning and testing.

      • Stay abreast of new features and functionality that will impact the organization.

      • Identify and recommend changes to processes and design as Workday technology and/or business needs change.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workday’s technical and functional capabilities, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. This role requires a strategic mindset, technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Substantial experience over no less than 2 years in business process architecture, including Workday transformation in modules like Core HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Time and Absence, Reporting, Advanced Compensation, and Payroll.

    • 4 of experience working in or collaborating with HR operations and 2 years as a Workday analyst or similar role.

    • Ability to flex between detailed process work and strategic enterprise connections.

    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem resolution skills.

    • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.

    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

    • Flexible and adaptable; able to work effectively in ambiguous situations.

    • Familiarity with design thinking or systems thinking concepts.

    • In-depth knowledge of Workday's technical and functional capabilities; Workday certification is a plus.

    • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies to solve business challenges.

    Work Environment: This role involves regular interaction with business leaders, functional users, technical teams, and external vendors across the globe, requiring effective collaboration across different time zones. It demands a strategic mindset, technical expertise, and the ability to manage and implement change effectively.
