Role and Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead research and design for the introduction of new Juniper products.
  • Oversee testing strategy and execution for network solutions.
  • Independently understand customer solutions and develop comprehensive test cases.
  • Manage customer escalations, POCs, and RFPs independently.
  • Collaborate with customers and account teams to understand requirements and devise test strategies.
  • Develop an automation framework to support customer use case testing.
  • Review software functional specifications and unit tests.
  • Develop test plans, test harnesses, and test cases.
  • Conduct performance and scaling tests.
  • Assist software developers in debugging issues and creating bug reports.
  • Create scripting and white-box tools for organization-wide use to address daily challenges.
  • Script and execute regression tests after software integration on integration branches.
  • Write knowledge base articles to document common issues and their resolutions for organizational reference.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with large automation test frameworks.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Perl, Python, etc.
  • Deep understanding of Cloud, Enterprise, and Service Provider networking architectures and technologies.
  • Proficiency with Linux and related bash tools.
  • Expertise in MPLS, TCP/IP fundamentals, and commonly used routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
  • Experience in configuring and setting up Juniper or Cisco routers is a plus.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Network certifications (or equivalent training/experience) are an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of AI & ML is a plus!
