WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Troubleshooting Technician for Stryker you will be responsible for testing, diagnosing, calibrating, repairing, reworking or performing routine troubleshooting on a variety of electronic components, subassemblies and assemblies, on one or more product lines. You will also inspect and identify areas for quality improvement and may work with the engineering team to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues. This position involves routine and repetitive work, and tends to closely follow established procedures and processes, and is moderately supervised. Additional responsibilities include:
- Following process documents, test procedures, and other established criteria.
- Ensuring adherence to drawing specifications, workmanship standards, and test procedures, and consistently inspect and identify areas for quality improvements.
- Troubleshooting a wide variety of assemblies to the sub-assemblies, and interface with engineering in resolving the root cause for technical problems and defect analysis. Repair may be extend to component level.
- Maintaining and verifying equipment to ensure proper calibration and operation through Calibration Lab.
- Completing maintenance logs and reports on time and accurately and document repairs and failures into the database
- Providing technical assistance to production line, both assembly and technical when required for line balancing or delays.
- Provide training or assistance to Assemblers.
- Actively participates in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
WHAT YOU NEED:
- High School Diploma or equivalent - required
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Electronics - preferred
- 2 years of electronic technician experience – required
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 35 lbs - required
- Understanding of troubleshooting and repair fundamentals
- Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Proficient written and verbal communication, reading and math skills
- Good manual dexterity, and eye/hand coordination.
- Experience using Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- May involve exposure to chemicals, solvents and solder fumes.
- May be required to wear personal protective equipment.
$24.21 – $32.75 per hour plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
