We are looking for an enthusiastic Placement Student - Test Engineering to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Product Development Business segment in Darlington. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential ! This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 1 July 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Planning testing and development alongside the performance and product validation teams.
• Undertaking regular data reviews to guide development.
• Generating problem statements and troubleshooting sample or facility challenges.
• Communicating regular updates to the test customers and wider department.
• Generating subsequent technical reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards a STEM degree.
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team with experience contributing to or leading a group project.
• Strong desire to learn with knowledge of the practical application of science or engineering concepts.
• Good level of skill using Microsoft applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
