DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management:
- Compile, consolidate, and conduct basic analysis of accounting and finance information.
- Prepare basic journal entries and perform monthly and annual account reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of tables, charts, and other exhibits for reports.
- Complete supplier reconciliations within deadlines.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Analyze raw data and present it in a clear, concise, and meaningful manner to stakeholders.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests and perform basic financial analysis.
- Develop, improve, and modify metrics, reporting, and processes, including maintaining associated Excel macros.
- Process Improvement and Support:
- Support Accounts Payable (AP) function and related processes, including resolving complex queries from internal customers and suppliers.
- Support the AP Supervisor and Value Stream Transformation projects.
- Participate in testing, migrations, and implementations as needed.
- Ensure adherence to SOx documentation and Work Instructions.
- Customer Service and Collaboration:
- Maintain excellent customer service with all CBSe customers and suppliers.
- Collaborate with IT to resolve issues and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and targets are met.
- Support GCC when required and promote common accounting practices.
- Compliance and Control:
- Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with internal controls and regulations.
- Evaluate and address financial reporting risks and ensure transactions comply with applicable regulations.

Financial Regulations Acumen - Evaluates applicable regulations for the financial area of focus, such as tax, banking, pension, local accounting to ensure underlying transactions are recorded in compliance with applicable regulations; explains key requirements and purpose of regulations and implications to the business to inform and educate relevant stakeholders.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
A two-year university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent experience acceptable if it meets applicable regulations.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
