Functional Description:

The International Card Services (ICS) FP&A team leads the end-to-end forecasting and financial planning processes for the ICS segment, providing decision support to senior Finance leaders by producing P&L reports and analyses and bringing forward analytical insights. Delivering on these key goals requires high levels of analytical rigor, financial thought leadership, knowledge of the P&L, strong collaboration across teams, and relationship-building skills. Month End vertical is a key role with focus on providing analytical insights in tracking and reporting of P&L metrics and financials to ICS Finance & Business Leadership. This position will play an important role in collaborating with ICS LFOs, business partners and ICS FP&A LT in understanding the performance and future trajectory of the business unit.

Responsibilities:

·       Drive the Management Reporting process at a Segment/Regional/Market/LOB level

·       Manage month-end reporting and analysis ensuring integrity of the P&L through close control activities by maintaining high accuracy and productivity standards

·       Bring in useful insights to better explain business performance, key trends, and its potential impact on future performance

·       Utilize broad set of analytical tools and techniques to drive outcomes

·       Independently work with partners to deliver on insightful and valuable performance analysis with actionable insights

·       Develop content and analysis for presentation to senior leaders across business and finance

·       Collaborate with multiple internal teams to drive optimal output and deliver efficient reporting capabilities through best-in-class Analytics and Reporting solutions

·       Support the Annual Plan and Risks & Opportunities assessments for the business

 

Skills required:

·       Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with proven ability to drive analytical output aimed at identifying trends, developing key insights, and required decisions for senior management

·       Excellent analytical skills

·       Exceptional working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Think cell and TM1; experience in data modelling is preferred

·       Strong understanding of the P&L and Card economics

·       Superior communication skills and an ability to story tell through data

·       Initiative-taking and intellectually curious

·       Strong collaboration and relationship building skills

·       Flexibility to deal with change in a fast-paced environment, enthusiastic and able to perform under pressure to meet deadlines with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
