What You Will Do
Assist in all financial-related matters related to establishing and scaling the Inventory COE.
Supporting across different ERP systems configuration, testing, and wave deployments on behalf of the Inventory COE.
Assist in scoping and implementation of required reporting from SAP BW.
Support integration projects for business transfers into the COE – includes workstream meetings, systems, inventory cutovers, standard cost updates, inventory adjustments, etc.
Prepare process documentation and assist the leadership team to migrate inventory processes into the new COE.
As requested, perform ad-hoc analysis and perform special projects for Senior Leadership.
Perform financial review of all CER and DAR requests.
Prepare month-end journal entries and formulate required accruals in accordance with GAAP.
Maintain balance sheet accounts associated with the Inventory COE to include gross and net accounts and complete balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with Stryker policies.
Lead and manage the annual budgeting process and monthly financial projection process for Inventory and Reserves.
Ensure all Company policies are adhered to within the COE. Responsible for complying with Sarbanes-Oxley and all other applicable financial laws and regulations, company policies, and implementing corrective actions.
Partner with the local supply planning team to drive accurate FG supply forecasts and collaborate on inventory reduction programs
Calculate, reconcile, and analyze Inventory and Inventory reserves for the period close.
Support business on implementation and monitoring of Internal Controls and other Compliance requirements.
Ensure all Inventory reports generated by SAP are accurate, complete, and reconcile to General Ledger.
Responsible for the setting of standard costs for all products in the COE as prescribed by the standard cost policy.
Implement and validate product cost updates and financial statement impact.
Coordinate and manage Budget and Forecast input, validation, and review.
What you need
Education & special training:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: Required
CPA: Preferred
Experience researching and applying GAAP: Preferred
Qualifications & experience:
3-5 years of experience in a finance function in a matrix international company (preferably an American or Multinational company)
Inventory Accounting experience preferred
Inventory Accounting experience is a plus
Advanced proficiency with Excel (required).
Proficiency with Oracle, SAP S4 Hana, and/or SAP BW (required)
Ability to interpret and analyze data accurately and efficiently
Fluency in English required
Strong ability to coordinate action across the dispersed workforce and highly matrixed organization
Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management
Effective problem-solving skills
