What you will do:

The position is responsible for overall operations performance in Chile, both direct and indirect. The main objectives are to provide leadership and strategic direction, develop talent, ensure excellence, drive customer satisfaction, optimize supply chain processes, and reduce costs. This role will promote teamwork, collaboration, and integrity, guaranteeing quality performance standards to meet strategic plans, objectives, and customer agreements.

  • Oversee logistics, kitting, and customer service operations in Chile, managing both direct and indirect operations.

  • Ensure organizational readiness, customer alignment, and delivery capability for required service levels.

  • Lead budget planning, headcount projection, and resource capacity management.

  • Build and develop a strong operations team, focusing on talent and succession planning.

  • Improve the Stryker distribution network to support the commercial go-to-market strategy.

  • Manage 3PL activities to meet service level agreements while ensuring quality, sustainability, and compliance.

  • Align operations with global/local quality standards, internal policies, and regulations.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and performance for enhanced efficiency and cost savings.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Over 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related fields.

  • More than 10 years of experience in people management with proven organizational development experience.

  • Proficiency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is highly recommended.

  • Experience in the Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, or Automotive industries.

  • Proven experience in implementing Lean improvement initiatives, focusing on operational efficiency using tools such as Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and 5S.

  • Direct experience in logistics management, warehousing, fulfillment, inventory, planning, supply chain, order management, and MRP tools/systems.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, ERP systems (JDE), and data intelligence tools; APICS accreditation and formal training in Lean, Process Excellence, and Six Sigma tools are recommended.
