About the Job:

We are looking for creative engineers who enjoy being challenged by problems of scale and complexity. As a team member, you will work on the systems architecture and systems software. You will get to design and implement novel operating system techniques and algorithms for the On-Device Management of Juniper products.  As a team member, you will participate in all phases of software development, including specification, design, implementation, unit testing and sustaining.

About the Team:

The Junos Manageability team is responsible for the Junos Operating System Infrastructure, enabling customers to deploy and manage Juniper devices quickly.  The team is responsible for the solution definition for the entire Junos product range and supports the solution requirements for all the Market segments (Service Providers, Data Centers, Enterprises etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of the product development cycle from product definition and design through implementation, including:
• Architecture
• Design
• Implementation and Testing
• Provide support to critical Customers
• Work and interact with geographically distributed teams (including development and QA)
• Willingness to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals.

Basic Qualifications: 

• Pursued B.E./M. E in CS or IT with a strong academic background
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Excellent C/C++/Rust programming skills
• Expertise in multi-threaded programming
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies
• Must have strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of other engineers to meet aggressive goals and meet high-quality standards
• Unix/Linux internals

Desired Qualifications:

• Exposure to High Availability, Clustering and Scalable Technologies is highly desirable.
