Job Description

  • Under broad direction, act as liaison between supply chain (procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, and logistics) and Halliburton Business Development to support requirements in specific tender and executed contracts

  • Projects for a given scope of work may range from $1M - $250M in revenue across stakeholders from multiple regions and all product service lines; deliverables must be uploaded in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) portal (e.g. Salesforce RUBI) and communicated to stakeholders by due date

  • Tender support:

    • Review price adjustment clauses in tenders and propose alternative ones if needed to protect HAL’s interest.

    • Avail inflation forecast (HAL and market) for multi-year fixed price tenders, through market data, collaborative efforts within supply chain and evaluating result from cost models

  • Evaluate price adjustment mechanism calculation in executed contracts and propose more favourable strategies where applicable

  • Track relevant commodity markets and utilize market data to justify price increase or discount mitigation for Business Development and Operations stakeholders. Deliverables to stakeholders can be in PowerPoint, WORD or Excel format, depending on the requests

  • Participate in negotiations, meetings, and reviews with major Oil and Gas Operators world-wide as needed

  • Provide GSM related training to internal stakeholders and customers as needed

  • Peer review projects as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management or similar discipline

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience related commercial experience in supply chain, business development, or market analysis

  • Heavy analytical, project management, and Microsoft Office skills

  • Background in statistics, or data science and analytics is preferred

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tool, SAP knowledge preferred
